Tags and Tag Keepers

Went tag crazy a while ago and made loads of tags from old cards etc, had fun distressing everything in sight, of course I had to make tag keepers to put all those tags in! xx

Making tags using free images

Hello lovelies, I wonder if anyone reads blogs anymore?  I keep mine as an online diary as I know they are not so popular these days, shame in a way :)

Using free images sourced on Pinterest I stitched around the edges onto a card background, I used normal acrylic paint on a dry sponge for the distressing, and ripped a ribbon into several pieces for the tops.  Will be doing many more for a Christmas swap :)

I also made a tag pocket, got the idea from You Tube.  All stitched onto thick card, something a little different. :)

Scrappy little tags

Using up scraps of fabric?  Try making some tags, they will always be used.

The first one is linen base with a strip of lace, printed bird on a wire ribbon and a black cotton 'nest' with pink pearl embellishments 💙

This one is a scrap of old denim, a cut from some printed fabric, with lace button and pearl embellishment 💙

The last one is denim again, printed ribbon, paper 'tape measure' strips with pearls and button embellishment 💙
